About Me

My Story
My Education
I became a therapist because I understand what it means to carry pain that others cannot always see.
My own experiences of trauma showed me how deeply difficult experiences can affect confidence, relationships, safety, and everyday life. They also taught me that healing is possible when people are met with respect, understanding, and the right support.
That experience led me to educate myself in psychotherapy, counselling, addiction recovery, and social care. I chose to turn lived experience into professional skill, grounded in training, ethical practice, and evidence-based approaches.
Today, I work with people who are recovering from addiction, living with the effects of trauma, or facing challenges linked to intellectual disability. My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. Therapy is a space to understand what has happened, build healthier coping tools, strengthen self-worth, and create meaningful change.
You do not need to have all the answers before starting therapy. You only need a space where your story is taken seriously and where change is possible.
